@instagram: Original/Organic Feature
As part of my marketing role as TaylorMade’s PGA Tour correspondent, generating social and multimedia content from professional golf events around the world, I traveled to Scotland in July 2013 for the Open Championship. One of the original photographs I shared from my account, @CharlieTour, was featured by Instagram’s official channel (@instagram) on July 18, 2013. This pickup achieved organic reach of more than 30 million followers @instagram’s feed, generating more than 300,000 engagements on the platform. The photo highlights adidas Golf endorser and professional golfer, Brandt Snedeker, who I captured from the top of the grandstand at Muirfield Golf Club while he was practicing putting.
